We created an interactive installation for the McCord Museum for Nuit Blanche 2012. The audience was invited to make cutouts and puppets, install them into an installation we created and animate the installation using mobile lights casting big three dimensional shadows. The response was so overwhelming!!! There is some serious imagination and talent in Montreal! We are stunned by the detail and intricacy of the pieces that were created. We’ll be posting more about this in the coming weeks but here are a few images of the night for a start.
Big shout-outs to the amazing team of educators at the museum in engaging people and playing all night long. Big thanks to the museum staff for their support and help in making this a magic night. And stay tuned for some videos and sound clips from the haunting, lyrical, beautiful live music created by Chris Carrière and Frank O’Connor, our collaborators.
